Every event at CoreBridge 17 Foundation is a bridge—connecting purpose, people, and transformation.
Through our prevention workshops, leadership programs, and community fundraisers, we bring together youth, families, and advocates who believe in healing and hope.

Our calendar features both impact-driven youth programs and fundraising experiences that sustain them.

Below are CoreBridge 17 Foundation’s key fundraising and youth empowerment events for the upcoming year.
Each one plays a vital role in advancing our mission — from building awareness and fostering leadership to raising critical funds that support prevention and mentorship initiatives.

Bridge Forward Annual Brunch & Vision Launch

An inspiring kickoff to the year that introduces new initiatives, celebrates community partners, and invites supporters to join the mission.
Focus: Donor engagement, sponsorship renewal, and youth ambassador recognition.
Theme: A New Year, A New Bridge of Hope


Leaders on the Bridge Networking Luncheon

A professional luncheon connecting civic and business leaders dedicated to youth prevention, empowerment, and partnership development.
Focus: Relationship building and corporate sponsorship.
Theme: Together We Bridge Change


Safety Pin Gala

A black-tie celebration honoring youth advocates, community partners, and donors who make transformation possible.
Focus: Fundraising, recognition, and impact storytelling.

Drug-Free Future Community Festival

A large-scale outdoor event uniting families, partners, and youth for a day of awareness, music, and community pledges during National Drug-Free Month.
Focus: Public awareness and community giving.

Youth Empowerment & Prevention Week

A week of interactive workshops and school programs that build confidence, leadership, and awareness about drug prevention and mental health.
Focus: Education, early prevention, and youth leadership development.
Theme: Strong Minds. Strong Choices.


Voices of Hope Youth Expo

A creative showcase where young people express their journeys through art, poetry, and music, inspiring others toward resilience and recovery.
Focus: Empowerment through expression.
Theme: Hope Has a Voice.


The CORE Wellness Fair

A family-oriented community event focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being, featuring local vendors and free resources.
Focus: Health, family engagement, and prevention access.
Theme: Wellness Starts at the Core.


Healing Through Purpose Retreat

A reflective retreat experience that supports youth and mentors in healing, renewal, and personal growth.
Focus: Trauma-informed care, mentorship, and empowerment.
Theme: From Pain to Purpose. 

In-House Youth Etiquette & Professional Development Program

 

Our Youth Etiquette & Professional Development Program equips young people with the social, emotional, and professional tools they need to thrive. Through interactive workshops and real-world training, participants gain the confidence and discipline to represent themselves with excellence in any environment.


Program Focus Areas:

  • Etiquette & Social Skills: Teaching respect, manners, and professional behavior.
     
  • Eloquence & Public Speaking: Strengthening confidence, articulation, and presentation skills.
     
  • Professional Image & Dress: Coaching proper attire, grooming, and self-presentation.
     
  • Career Readiness & Job Prep: Building resumes, practicing interviews, and developing workplace professionalism.
     
  • Financial Literacy: Learning budgeting, saving, and responsible money management.
     
  • Digital Etiquette & Online Safety: Promoting positive, responsible, and professional online engagement.
     
  • Leadership & Community Service: Encouraging leadership through service projects and peer mentoring.
     
  • Parent & Family Engagement: Offering workshops that help parents reinforce professional growth and etiquette at home.
     

Program Outcomes:
Participants graduate with enhanced communication skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Many go on to become Youth Ambassadors, representing CoreBridge 17 Foundation at events and serving as mentors to their peers.

This program builds life-long habits of excellence, integrity, and self-respect—empowering youth to walk into every room with confidence and character.

In-House 🌸 She Thrives: Girls Empowerment & Leadership Program

 She Thrives is a signature empowerment program by CoreBridge 17 Foundation designed exclusively for girls ages 8-17. This initiative helps young women discover their voice, value, and vision for the future. Through mentorship, life-skills development, and wellness education, participants learn to lead with confidence, integrity, and self-respect.

Program Goals:
To equip girls with the emotional, social, and professional tools to make positive life choices, resist negative influences, and build strong foundations for academic and personal success.

Core Focus Areas:

  • Self-Esteem & Identity Building: Helping girls understand their worth, embrace their individuality, and develop self-confidence rooted in faith and self-love.
     
  • Leadership & Personal Development: Teaching goal-setting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills that empower participants to lead in school, at home, and in their communities.
     
  • Etiquette & Professionalism: Introducing proper social conduct, poise, grooming, and communication—skills that foster elegance, confidence, and respect.
     
  • Career Readiness & Financial Literacy: Guiding young women through resume building, interview preparation, financial responsibility, and career exploration.
     
  • Wellness & Mental Health Awareness: Providing trauma-informed education on stress management, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and body positivity.
     
  • Sisterhood & Mentorship Circles: Pairing participants with positive female mentors who offer guidance, accountability, and encouragement.
     
  • Community Service & Advocacy: Encouraging girls to give back through service projects and leadership roles that create real impact in their communities.
     

Outcomes & Impact:
Graduates of She Thrives emerge as confident, compassionate, and community-minded leaders who embody grace, purpose, and strength. They gain the tools to stand tall in any setting—personally, academically, and professionally—and to model empowerment for others.
